“London Calling” as UK arrange urgent towage move
The team in the United Kingdom successfully arranged the towage of a large Jack Up Barge from the Netherlands to it’s home base on the Thames. The unit had been purchased last year by our good client and has just undergone a full refurbishment. It will be used as a safe working platform for near-shore construction projects both in the United Kingdom and further afield. Excellent weather and a prevailing wind enable the Tug with her precious tow to make the crossing in just 24 hours. The barge looks to have secured a contract to work immediately and we wish her well in her first employment under new ownership.
