Team “ Herbie” wins in Hong Kong
As main sponsor, we can look back on a wonderful few days of exiting racing in cooperation with the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and the Hong Kong Dragon Association. The 2017/2018 Hong Kong Open Dragon Championship was hosted over the course of three days at Middle Island, including international teams from Holland and Belgium that were shipped to Hong Kong by Central Oceans.
The winning boat was a visiting team from the Belgium, BEL 82 “Herbie” helmed by Xavier Vanneste. Finishing 2nd overall and also taking the top “Corinthian Trophy” and “Best Hong Kong Helm” position was HKG 55 “Zephyr” helmed by Tam Nguyen. The final spot on the podium was for the winners of the Championship in 2016, NED 1 “Coninkskint” helmed by Ronald Pfeiffer.
