The Reel Deal
The UK Team recently completed another loading, this time of a 160 ton Reel of Steel Wire Rope from Newcastle, which is now heading on it’s way to Brazil.
This break bulk cargo was transported to the Shippers local terminal where it was loaded onboard a geared breakbulk vessel, as the unit was too heavy to move to any another port in the UK.
As anticipated, the loading went extremely well, the ship arrived at 0800 hours in the morning and the loading was complete by noon! Vessel then sailed on the early evening tide as planned.
