Go Long!
After weeks of preparations and applying for the necessary permits, the team in Thailand finally received the green light to transport a locally manufactured, 37-meter-long column to its final site. Due to its out of gauge dimensions, the column was only permitted to travel during weekends and at night under the watchful eye of a police escort. The column arrived early Monday morning and, when the mobile cranes were in position, was discharged. Once installed at the refinery, the unit will replace an old separator column and help increase production.
